YBNL Nation got the attention of music lovers and media houses after the label boss – Olamide unceremoniously dropped fast rising singer – Lyta off his record record and immediately unfollowed him on Instagram.
Olamide went on to state reasons for his actions, revealing that Lyta was jealous of Fireboy’s success and wasn’t willing to follow the label’s schedule for releasing songs and promoting the various artists.
Lyta immediately went into depression and went live on an interview to air his feelings stating that he is confused at the moment and don’t know what to do next with his life.
Few weeks later, the singer got another record label deal with a label called ‘Doro Musik Gang’ and he just released his first song under the record label titled ‘Monalisa’
The song was top-notch, from the great Lyrics to the wonderful instrumental by Killertunes and it was also immediately followed with an official music video.
For me I think Lyta leaving the YBNL Nation is a blessing in disguise as the singer can now release songs more frequently unlike when he was with the YBNL and released only ‘Time’ and ’Self Made’ Apart from releasing more songs, the pressure on the singer will be less as he will not have to try to keep with the likes of ‘Fireboy’, ‘Picazzo’ and ‘Yomi Blaze’.
For me, leaving YBNL Nation is a blessing for Lyta. So let me know what you think.
Is Lyta better off without YBNL?
