J. Cole & Condemn White “Terrorist” Florida Cop With History Of False Arrests

A Broward County, Florida deputy with a history of making false arrests has caught the wrath of J. Cole and Meek Mill. In a July 2017 video obtained by The Miami Herald, Allen Floyd was holding his infant son outside of a Red Carpet Inn in Dania Beach when he was approached by Deputy .
Almost instantly, Cady started screaming at Floyd, demanding to see his I.D. When Floyd asked why he’s being so hostile, he started calling him “boy” and continued escalating the situation. Ultimately, Cady grabbed Floyd by the right arm before another officer snatched the man’s baby out of his arms.
Broward Public Defender penned a letter to newly appointed Broward Sheriff Gregory Tony last month, pointing out Floyd wasn’t under investigation of any crime nor was he being belligerent.
“Deputy Cady’s verbal assault coupled with him choking an otherwise cooperative bystander can only be characterized as unlawful touching,” Finkelstein wrote. “In addition, Deputy Cady’s use of the term ‘boy’ is offensive, condescending and demeaning. It carries racial connotations when used while addressing an adult black male.”
Tony responded to Finkelstein’s letter with, “Thank you for bringing this matter that occurred in July 2017 to my attention. A cursory search of our system shows that no complaint was made prior to receiving your letter.”
Cole shared a clip of the incident to his Twitter account with the caption “Coward and a terrorist,” while Meek commented, “Regular day for a black man in America! They ripped this man baby out of his arms smfh!”
probable cause affidavit, which is available on the Broward County Courts website under , doesn’t mention Cady was among the deputies there nor does it mention Floyd.
It also doesn’t reveal why the deputies came to the Red Carpet Inn in the first place and fails to explain how the officer ended up with the infant in her arms.
Executive chief assistant public defender Gordon Weekes said if a person answers a law enforcement officer with his name, as Floyd did, he’s identified himself.
Tony told the public defender, “Our Division of Internal Affairs will provide you with a response upon conducting a thorough examination.”
